Schools could use exploratory research when they want to learn more about a problem or understand what students think about something. For example, a school could ask students questions about why they are not participating in school activities or what they would like to see changed. This could help the school discover new ideas and better understand students’ opinions. However in contrast to find data in numbers we would use descriptive research to find out how many students participate in sports, clubs, or other activities. this would help to understand how many people enjoy thos hobbies and put it into a graph.
